This Saturday March 5, we are EXTREMELY honored to welcome MICHAEL ASTON as Gene Loves Jezebel. He will be performing an intimate acoustic set starting at 11pm sharp. What a dream to invite such a legend to the FUNERAL Main Tomb Stage...I also want to thank STEVE SKELETAL (our lovely GO-GHOUL DANCER) for making this a possibilty for us...
Back from the UK... Brandi and I are back from the UK safe and sound...it was an amazing time. London was everything I had hoped it would be, with every alley whispering some grey old secret only the dead could hear. I am hoping to return in the Summer and DJ at other Gothic and Deathrock nights in and around London. It's good to be back, good to be back...see you on Saturday.

Veronika SoRRoW of FUNERAL is flying out with skeleton crew-girl Brandi to represent FUNERAL IN THE UK! SoRRoW will be the guest DJ at a couple of deathrock/gothic events and spreading the word of everlasting death! On Friday February 18, while you all dance the night away in L.A. at FUNERAL, Veronika will be half-way around the world bringing a bit of original DEATHROCK & GOTHIC ROCK TO THE UK! GOD SAVE THE QUEEN! IT'S FUNERAL IN THE UK!!
01.25.05 FUNERAL IS MOVING TO SATURDAYS STARTING IN MARCH!
We will be open on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month, starting on Saturday March 5. February will be the last month we'll be open on the 1st and 3rd Friday. This is INCREDIBLE news for us all as FUNERAL will THRIVE on Saturdays...there is a lack of gothic dance clubs on Saturdays, and we wanna GIVE IT TO YOU!
SECRETS...are hard to keep. On Saturday March 5, FUNERAL will be HONORED in welcoming a LEGEND to our tomb. We are deeply humbled to welcome him...and will reveal this secret artist...SOON!
January 21...was incredible!! Creepies were crawling all over the tombs and halls of FUNERAL just tearing the night up...THANK YOU to you all and especially to THE DEEP EYNDE for coming in and rocking the grave! The new third Electro-Industrial room was a smashing success...we hope you loved it...
01.18.05 THIRD DANCE ROOM ADDED TO FUNERAL!
Yes..this Friday Jan. 21, will be the unveiling of the 3rd room at FUNERAL! We will have THREE ROOMS OF MUSIC AND DANCING!
1. THE MAIN TOMB: will feature GOTHIC, DEATHROCK & DARK 80's DANCE with DJ's sPlit, SoRRoW & guests.
2. THE LOUNGE: will feature the live bands and movie features. It will also eventually feature DJ's playing GOTHIC, OBSCURE, PUNK and your instant REQUESTS...
3. THE NEW THIRD HALL: will feature ELECTRO-INDUSTRIAL dance with DJ's Renfield and Weasle.
SO NOW, there is a bit of every thing for every BODY...
... As for FUNERAL possibly moving to Saturdays, the owners of the Elk's Lodge still have not confirmed, but it should begin in March. WE REALLY hope so..Fridays are just killing the Funeral Skeleton Crew. Oh wait. We're already dead.
WTF is going on around here?
Finally. After a good 2 years of procrastination, it was decided the Funeral website get a tiny little face lift with some new clean images and a cleaner, clearer navigation bar. I've been sick with a stomach flu and bed-ridden, so I decided to sit at my computer instead. I am very happy with it, are you?
